Spring Break

The kids had a whole week off for Spring Break. It started with sunburns and turned to snow. That's spring for you. The first day was the nicest day of the year so far. The kids spent it playing outside with the neighbor kids. I haven't gotten into the habit of putting on the sunscreen again, so we ended the night nursing some sunburns. The next day was cold and windy, then turned to snow. It was a good day to stay inside and do some crafting. We chose some rocks from the Hobbs creek and decorated them. The kids loved it. When we were done they asked what other crafts we could do. So, I got out my mounds of scrapbook paper and we made birds. Ian lasted long enough to make one, and Eliza made two. Then we sat down and watch Ghostbusters. The rest of the week was cold and uneventful until Friday, when my parents took us all to the Museum of Ancient Life (aka the dinosaur museum). Thanks Mom and Dad, it was a great ending to spring break. More pictures at Hobbsie Kids.

Happy to hear that Utah has finally gone to the week long spring break. Happy to see you are sharing the classics with your children. Did they like Ghostbusters?

Mandy- Actually Utah hasn't made it to week long SP. Alpine district just mooshed it together with the snow day we didn't use and a teacher something or other day. They love Ghostbusters. :)
