Saturday was Ave's first Birthday! I can't believe she is already 1. We had a great gathering of family to help us celebrate the big day. The decorations were all pink. Her cute little face was all over the place: the cupcake flags, the pull string on the candy balls, and the juice jars.
The weather was great, not too hot. As we were taking the balloons down after the party the wind really picked up, and then rained during the night. It was sure nice of Mother Nature to hold off the storm until Sunday. Thank you to all who came and celebrated Ava's first EVER birthday party!

holy cow. i should not have read this before petrea's 1st birthday, now i want to make it as adorable as ava's, but of course it would never be as cute. how did you do the giant cupcake cake? wow. seriously. so cute.

I got a king size cup cake pan from Bed Bath & Beyond. Being the cake queen that you are, Patrea will have an AMAZING cake, I'm sure.
