We told the kids they couldn't wake us up until 9 am. It almost worked. We made it to just about 8:30 (I'm surprised we made it that long). We opened our stockings, then the tree. The kids loved the whole thing. We spent the rest of the day with my family, as we do every year. It was nice to have a relaxing day to just visit, play games, and of course eat. Christmas Day
We told the kids they couldn't wake us up until 9 am. It almost worked. We made it to just about 8:30 (I'm surprised we made it that long). We opened our stockings, then the tree. The kids loved the whole thing. We spent the rest of the day with my family, as we do every year. It was nice to have a relaxing day to just visit, play games, and of course eat.
