We said when we had one dog left, we would stay with one dog. It actually worked...for about 4 1/2 months. We REALLY were going to stay a one dog family, but this little fur ball was found on our front step with a note pinned to her collar saying "please, take care of me". OK, not really, but almost. The sister of a good friend had this pug, who we have dog sat before, and she was sadly unable to keep her. Her fiance is VERY allergic to dogs, not to mention she works long shifts as a nurse and just wasn't able to give her the attention and exercise she very much needs. She asked if we would be willing to take her in. After some thought, we decided we would like to take her. We knew we could give her a very good environment to live in. She is 6 months old, and already house broken (with a few accidents, although we have only had 1). She needs training and some puppy behavior broken, and she is already doing amazingly well. She is an AKC registered pug, and was probably bought for $400-$600. The owner was just so relieved to find a good home for the pug (with someone she knew, and could visit if needed) she didn't want any $ for the dog. You can't beat that. So now we have two "cute" dogs again.
*There is no record of a nonrabid wolf attack on a human.* So does that mean all wolves are rabid, or only the rabid ones attack humans?

She looks so feminine but then we are used to K the gentle giant. She's a cutie. I KNEW you couldn't stay to one dog.
so if a golden retriever ends up on your doorstep with a note you'll keep him?
